EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION
The Candidate must possess a bachelor’s degree in any subject along with a bachelor’s Degree in Law awarded by any University in India.
The Candidates who have passed five-year course in Law after their Intermediate are also eligible.
The Candidate must have active practice as an Advocate for not less than three (3) years in Criminal Courts in the Telangana State and he / she should also be a practicing Advocate as on date of Notification.
AGE LIMIT
A Candidate must not have attained the age of 34 years as on the date of application.
AGE RELAXATION
Telangana State Govt Employees- Length of regular service subject to a maximum period of 5 (five) Years
Ex-Servicemen (who served in Indian Army / Indian Air Force / Indian Navy)- 3 (three) Years in addition to the length of service rendered in the Armed Forces.
NCC Instructor (who rendered a minimum service of 6 months as a whole time NCC Instructor)- 3 (three) Years in addition to the length of service rendered in the NCC.
SCs, STs, BCs and EWS- 5 Years.
Orthopaedically Handicapped- 10 Years.

PLAN FOR WRITTEN EXAMINATION
Candidates will be required to appear for a written examination in two Papers (each of three hours duration). Both Papers will be set in English language only.
Paper I- 200 marks for 200 multiple choice questions.
Paper II- 200 marks (Descriptive type).
25% of the full marks designated for the question shall be awarded as negative mark for that question ( Paper I).
The minimum marks to be secured by Candidates in order to qualify in the written examination for each paper is 40% for Posts under OC including EWS; 35% for Posts reserved for BCs; and 30% for Posts reserved for SCs and STs / Orthopaedically Handicapped.
Qualifying in each of the Papers: Paper-I and Paper-II is an essential prerequisite for a Candidate to be considered for selection. Paper-II of only those Candidates who qualify in Paper-I shall be evaluated.
