ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
I. Degree of Bachelor of Laws (Professional) of a recognized University.
II. Hindi / Sanskrit upto Matric or Higher Standard.
III. Should have enrolled as an Advocate with Bar Council.
AGE LIMIT:
a. Candidate should not be less than 21 years and not more than 42 years.
b. However, Relaxation in maximum age as per Government Instructions for various categories is available as under:

PLAN FOR PRELIMINARY EXAMINATION
Total no. of questions will be 100, each carrying one mark.
One-fourth mark will be deducted lor each wrong answer.
The question paper will be in English and Hindi.
The duration of the exam will be 2 Hours.
This exam will be qualifying in nature.
It is informed that as directed by Hon'ble High Court a minimum 50% questions would be from the field of law (i.e from the topics mentioned at point (ix) and (x) below) and remaining questions would be from the topics mentioned at (i) to (viii) below.

A candidate will have to secure a minimum of 25% marks to clear the screening test.
PLAN FOR MAINS EXAMINATION
a. Time duration of exam: 03 hours
b. Total Marks: 150
c. The question paper will be in English and Hindi.
d. Paper will be subjective type.
e. No candidate will be called for the interview/viva-voce unless she/he secures a minimum of 35% marks in the Subject Knowledge Test.
f. The numbers of the candidates called for interview will be two times, alongwith bracketed candidates, if any, of the number of advertised posts provided that they have secured the minimum cut-off marks of 35%.
g. The weight-age of the Subject Knowledge test will be 87.5%.
